Every year, Shawn takes Katie to the Daddy Daughter Dance at the local recreation center. They dress up, take a Daddy Daughter picture in their fancy clothes, get all sugared up with cookies, punch and candy and dance the night away! Here are pictures of Katie and Shawn before leaving for the Daddy Daughter Dance.
Katie holds the "flower" that Daddy brought her. Shawn normally brings her real flowers, but this year she had her heart set on a silk one she saw at the store. Good Daddy that he is, that's what he got for her.

Katie is getting to be so big - she took some "lipstick" along (aka chapstick) and had to do a touch up before getting in the car. In this picture, she looks like a teenager to me. I want to hold on to this time desperately and keep her 6 as long as possible!
